Your logo, your accent colour and your bank details on every document, numbered sequentially without you thinking about it. Line items carry quantity, rate, tax and their own percentage discount — so a landscaper can knock 10% off the mulch without touching the labour line.

On a tablet the screen splits in two: you work on the left, and the actual document — the one your customer will receive, with your logo on it — is typeset live on the right. Add a line and it appears there. So when you’ve finished pricing the job, you don’t describe the quote to the person standing next to you. You turn the tablet around and hand it over.

Tax rates that are already right
Pick your country once. Canadian users pick a province and get the correct GST plus PST, QST or HST combination; US users pick a state. Nobody has to look up a rate table.
Invoices, quotes and credit notes can be produced — on screen, as a PDF or printed — in English, French or Spanish. Set it per business or override it on a single document, so a Montréal customer gets a French invoice while your own app stays in English.

What we left out on purpose
Each of these needs a server that holds your data and your customers’ data. We don’t run one, so we can’t offer them — and we’d rather say so here than let you find out after you’ve moved a year of books across.
Card payments: your customer still taps and pays
Every invoice carries a Pay now link and a QR code printed on the PDF, so your customer points a phone at it and pays by card or Apple Pay on the spot.
The money goes through your own Stripe, PayPal Business or Square account — the processor’s fee is the only fee, we never see a card number, and if you leave the app the payment setup is still yours because it was always your account.
The rest, in short:
- Read receipts telling you a customer opened the invoice — though the app does remember when you last chased, stamped on the invoice and in the history list
- A client web portal your customers log in to
- Multi-user team accounts with a shared live database
- Direct integrations with accounting software
The short version: we don’t hold your data, so we also can’t hold your customer’s card number — the processor does, which is where it belongs. If a shared team database or a client login portal is the thing you need most, one of the cloud apps will serve you better, and we’d rather you knew that now.
